The aim of the Data Extraction Research Group is the extraction and structuring of data from unstructured and semi-structured electronic documents, such as those found on the Web and in many different data warehouses. The Data Extraction Group includes faculty from Brigham Young University's Marriott School, Computer Science Department, Linguistics Department and UVSC's Computing and Networking Sciences Department.

I have accepted a position as Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the School of Policy Studies at Kwansei Gakuin University in Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. I will start this new position on the Spring of 2005 after completing the Spring semester at UVSC.
