The Robert Mason story is very inspiring. It was part of the lesson today. It is amazing how the Lord inspired this great man to have the vision he had about the restoration of the Gospel, 30 years before it was restored. It inspired the great profet Wilford Woodruff to seek for the Gospel, which when he found he knew exactly what he had came across. I wish I had the insight of these two great men. OK, this year I am the president of the elders quorum at the Kansai Branch in Kobe. I am supposed to teach from the Teachings of President Woodruff manual. I have taught in the past from other books, but only on a few occassions. This year I think I will be doing a lot of the teaching because the branch is very small, so I guess i have very little choice. Anyway, I do enjoy teaching. The only thing I wish was a bit different is that there should be more visuals online that I could download. I like preparing computer presentations and it would be nice if the Church would make these available. Maybe they do already, but I don't know about i...

The 10th of April wa an interesting day. I got to go to the Kansai branch to see a re-broadcast of the general conference held a week before in Salt Lake City. I went by car and it only took about 35 minutes door-to-door. Here are some details of my experience.

I have a strong testimony of the truth of the LDS Church and its leaders. I believe that Joseph Smith Jr. was a true prophet of the Lord and that through revelation he was an instrument in the hands of the Lord to restore the same organization of the Church as it was organized by Jesus Christ during his ministry here on the Earth.
